The practice
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy practice, developed by Mikao Usui in the early 1900s, built on a simple idea: supporting the natural flow of energy that balances mind, body, and spirit. In a session you rest, fully clothed, while the practitioner works with light hand placements — or hands hovering just above — to invite deep relaxation. It is a complementary relaxation practice that works alongside, never instead of, your medical care.

The five precepts we practice by
Our work is rooted in the traditional Reiki precepts — a moral compass written over a century ago, and still the most honest way we know to live and to care for others. Each begins the same way: just for today. Not perfection. Just today.
-
Just for today —
I will not anger. We meet frustration with patience, in ourselves and with everyone who walks in.
-
Just for today —
I will not worry. Healing can't be rushed. We hold space without pressure or fear.
-
Just for today —
I will be grateful. Every session begins and ends in gratitude — for your trust, and for the work.
-
Just for today —
I will do my work honestly. Clear prices. Clear boundaries. No exaggerated claims — Reiki complements care, it never replaces medical treatment.
-
Just for today —
I will be kind to every living thing. Kindness is the practice. Everything else follows from it.
The promise
Down to earth, on purpose

Plain prices, no surprises. What you see when you book is what you pay. Sliding scale available — just ask.
Meet LaDon
I found this path the way most of us do — by needing it
For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to help people — and I've held one belief above the rest: the trauma and misfortune we pick up in life is not something we're meant to keep carrying.
I know because I carried mine. For years I leaned on coping mechanisms that quietly stopped working — and as hard as that season was, it's what pushed me to find a better way. Through Reiki, I learned to work with the energy that flows within all of us, the current that balances mind, body, and spirit. And piece by piece, I was finally able to set down what I'd been holding — from childhood through adulthood, and the older, inherited weights I believe travel with us too.
Your healing journey is yours, and yours alone, to walk. No one can walk it for you — but you don't have to walk it unsupported.
That's why Woosah Reiki exists: to share what I found, and to help you make the winding path we're all on a more peaceful one, moving forward.
